Jaco Kranendonk (1951 – 2020)

Last week Galerie Herenplaats said farewell to Jaco Kranendonk.

In 1991 Jaco was one of the first participants of Atelier Herenplaats. From then to 2009 he was constantly drawing and painting, five days a week. He composed a impressive oeuvre. Rotterdam was his main theme, with cars, busses, trams and metro crossing the busy streets. And ships passing the bridges: Maasbrug, Willemsbrug and Erasmusbrug.
