The world of Bros is depicted here in a highly condensed and simplified form. We consistently see these two characteristics in artworks with a naive quality, not because of an experiment in form or to develop a uniquely personal style of drawing, but out of a desire to capture an emotional state in an intense visual form. The tree with its red fruit, the plants and the houses are drawn with powerful, dark contours and filled with bright colours. The leaves of the trees and the landscape have been sketched quickly and roughly. Bros drew on all kinds of old paper, wallpaper and calendar pages.
